The Chameleon: Actor Gary Oldman (PHOTOS)

Saturday, October 8, 2011 0 comments
The many faces and movie roles of actor Gary Oldman.

Gary Leonard Oldman (born 21 March 1958) is an English actor, filmmaker and musician.

A member of the 1980s Brit Pack, Oldman came to prominence via starring roles in British films Meantime (1983), Sid and Nancy (1986) and Prick Up Your Ears (1987); in 1987, film critic Roger Ebert described him as "the best young British actor around". Oldman went on to star in many popular motion pictures of the 1990s to the present day, often as dark and morally ambiguous characters, many of which he has characterised as "wacky or strange". His acting credits include: The Firm (1989), State of Grace (1990), JFK (1991), Dracula (1992), True Romance (1993), Immortal Beloved (1994), Léon (1994), The Fifth Element (1997), The Contender (2000), the Harry Potter film series, Christopher Nolan's Batman film trilogy, and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011). In addition to his film career, Oldman has starred in United States television shows such as Knots Landing, Fallen Angels, Tracey Takes On... and Friends. He is also known for providing the voice of Viktor Reznov in the popular Call of Duty video game series and Lord Shen in Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011).

Oldman has been cited as an influence by a number of successful actors. Although he has won, and been nominated for, multiple awards during his career, he has been described as one of the greatest actors never nominated for an Academy Award. Aside from acting, he has served as a producer on several films, and directed, wrote and co-produced Nil by Mouth (1997), a film partially based on his own childhood, for which he was nominated for the 1997 Palme d'Or and won two BAFTA Awards. Oldman also attracted media attention for his marriage to actress Uma Thurman in the early 1990s. In 2011, he was voted an "Icon of Film" by Empire readers, in recognition of his contributions to cinema. (Via)

Your Favorite Ass To Mouth Horror Film Is Back - Human Centipede 2 (VIDEO)

Tuesday, September 6, 2011 0 comments

The first teaser trailer for the Human Centipede 2 ...everyone's favorite ass to mouth horror film is back with a sequel that no one wants.

Tom Six has lived up to his promise and created a nightmarish vision that makes Part 1 look like MY LITTLE PONY.

THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2: (FULL SEQUENCE) is without doubt, the most original and demented horror film for many a decade - sick, twisted, deranged, perverse, it is a film that only surgery will remove from your mind.

This film has been banned by the British Board of Film Classification on the grounds that they could not find anything to cut from the film - meaning that the whole film should have been cut - believe it or not!

What you see here are real reactions to Six's macabre mind-twister coupled with genuine extracts taken from the BBFC's letter declaring the film unsuitable for classification in Britain.

They have banned it in Britain, they have cut it in the USA, but MONSTER PICTURES are unleashing it in Australia exactly as Tom Six intended - a pure, glorious, 100% uncut horror masterpiece!

In Australian cinemas from Spring 2011. Be warned, once seen THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2: (FULL SEQUENCE) cannot be unseen!

HAS HORROR GONE TOO FAR? See the film and make up your own mind...
