These baby chicks are painted with toxic paints and sold to children, wtf. F*ck the people who buy them and double f*ck the people that make them.
I don't support this practice. Although illegal in some areas the practice of dyeing chicks for Easter holds on in parts of the U.S. and appears to be a common practice in other countries like China, India, Yemen, Morocco, etc. The resilient fuzzballs seem ignorant of their skittle-colored feathers and ultimately grow new un-dyed feathers. Unfortunately, this practice encourages kids and adults to view living creatures more as toys.
